Whether you are a mom or know a mom…you best NOT forget about Mother’s Day! Ya hear?!
This picture (above) always makes me smile. Maybe it is because of how genuine the emotion is…or how Leo never really cries; maybe it is because of how much I love these faces or how I (still) cannot believe that I am a mother of 3!
But in all seriousness, Mother’s Day is actually one of my most favorite holidays to celebrate, for a few reasons. First, I love honoring my Mom (and all the special women who are ‘like moms’ to me) but…my mom is literally my best friend, role model and who I look up to most in this world. I have always appreciated my mom, but after having kids, that appreciation is taken to a whole new level. After all, your mother is your first friend, your best friend and your forever friend. Second, I love the gifts that my kids make for me at school. They are literally the gifts I cherish most (and, without question, the ones that make me cry like a baby).
